  These points can be used on Regal Cinema movie tickets or items from the concession stand. 

For example, 6000 points make you eligible for a small popcorn and 7000 points make you eligible for a small fountain drink.

In addition, Regal Cinemas offers daily specials throughout the week. 

You can get 25% off candy every Monday, 50% off popcorn every Tuesday, and earn extra points on Wednesday towards your Regal Crown Club membership.

The coronavirus, or Covid-19, has impacted the movie industry especially hard.

In these trying times, Regal Cinemas has taken concerted efforts to stem the impact and ensure all moviegoers have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Starting July 31, 2020, Regal Cinemas will reopen include a wide range of new health and safety measures based on guidelines provided by the CDC.

These guidelines include contactless payment options, sanitizing methods, including ULV foggers, which will allow employees to sanitize every theater and seat after each movie.

In addition, employees will regularly sanitize high touch-points within the theater.

Lastly, both employees and guests will be required to wear face masks during their visit.

Employees will also be required to wash their hands frequently and daily health screenings to ensure safety and limitation of exposure.

Regal Cinemas, formerly known as Regal Entertainment Group, was founded in 1924.

The current iteration boasts over 7,300 screens in 564 distinct locations.
